The crew from A-Shift with George Rimiller. George had just completed the Flint Hills Mile running race on June 28 when he collapsed in cardiac arrest. Thanks to the quick actions of well-trained bystanders effective CPR was administered and 911 contacted. The responding UFD crew was able to successfully defibrillate Mr. Rimiller and transport him for definitive treatment at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. Pictured are Capt. Tod Chambers, George Rimiller, FF Spencer McLean, and FF Keanan Metcalfe. Not pictured are FF Matthew Hall, FF Cameron Gregg, and FF Shayne Wescott.
